   Hello. I’ve been reading up on a lot of different massage places in Alabama. So far, I like this place the best. My mother is in a lot of pain from working almost all her life. She’s had back surgery that only seemed to mess her up worse. She’ll have to have another surgery to “fix” her issues and hand surgery as well. She was told therapy would help but when she started going, it only hurt her worse. Is there a particular massage you could do to help with her back and hand pains? Her hands go numb from time to time and she has bad disks. Any recommendations would be great! I really appreciate it. 🙂 If I can get her to come, I’d like to bring her to you sometime, see if she does better.

      Hi Kerri,

      I’m sorry to hear about your mother’s issues with her back. Unfortunately, back surgery works really well for some folks and not so well for others. I am also very sorry to hear that she’s had a bad experience with massage therapy in the past.

      My philosophy with clients who have pain issues is to go very slow and light to explore what their bodies can tolerate. I would need to actually evaluate your mom to see if I can help her. I do work with a lot of clients who have had back surgery and deal with similar issues that you are describing.
