I have a 81 year old mother who moves slowly and lives in SE Decatur. I would like to give her a package of massage services for her birthday. SHe has had massage before but only at my home.

Is this something you can help me out with? Is she the type of client you can handle?

WOW…that was a good read Sharon on ‘sleep”. I don’t sleep well at night and I may be one of those people in the article. It takes me 2 hours to fall asleep and when i do go to sleep I wake up every hour or so. UGH…So tired.

Hi there – I’m always looking around for decent blogs and sites associated with massage therapy and wellness in general. The chiropractor I see locally here uses a method called Active Release Technique and it has really helped especially when I mix that with massage therapy. It’s difficult to find an effective clinic – how do you evaluate who is decent and who isn’t? Other than patient reviews and such – would be nice to get a checklist or something like that to save lots of time with bad providers. Thanks for your time.

Jessica, Yes the convention has been canceled due to continuing power outages in the Decatur area. It will be rescheduled and I’ll put info here as soon as I know it.
